Educating the Whole Child
OUR ELEMENTARY PROGRAM OFFERS A QUALITY ACADEMIC PROGRAM, RESOURCES DESIGNED FOR THE HEALTH AND GROWTH OF EACH CHILD, AND RICH EXPERIENCES BEYOND THE CLASSROOM.
We know a successful Christian school experience occurs when parents desire a strong academic program, support children taking responsibility for their behavior, and are committed to the programs and activities that support the school.
Age Requirements
Kindergarten students must be five (5) years old on or before September 1st of that year.
Child Assessment
All prospective students are tested for academic and social readiness. This is determined by grade level results on placement/screening test given by the school, previous school performance as indicated by past report cards or formal progress reports and teacher evaluation.
School Schedule
The regular school day goes from 8:15am-3:00pm
Field Trips
Field trips are scheduled by teachers to enrich and enhance the teaching and learning that takes place in the classroom. We depend upon parent drivers for these trips. Permission forms and driver forms must be registered at the school before students leave the campus. The list of each classes’ trips are part of the scope and sequence booklets and include everything from the Monterey Bay Aquarium to the San Francisco Symphony to a train trek to the state capitol.
