MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Welcome to Prince of Peace Christian School, where we are dedicated to fostering a community of learners through challenging learning experiences, physical wellness, and spiritual growth. As principal, I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to all our visitors, whether you are new to the area or just discovering our school for the first time.
Prince of Peace Christian School has a rich history of serving students from kindergarten through 8th grade. Located in the heart of Fremont, our campus embodies a vibrant and loving community where students are academically challenged, nurtured, and celebrated as children of our living God. I am truly honored to introduce you to our school, where tradition and innovation coexist harmoniously.
Our students are remarkable, characterized by their critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication. In addition to scholars, they are also musicians, athletes, artists, and performers. Every student in grades K-8 receives regular instruction in music, art, Spanish, and physical education from specialists in their field. Middle school students can participate in band, handbells, guitar, drama, and a host of other creative and performing arts.
Chromebooks are used in the classroom by students in grades 2-5 with middle school students using Chromebooks at school and at home. All classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards which teachers use to enhance instruction, engage students, and clarify difficult concepts. Students experience digital learning, personal instruction, hybrid learning, and differentiated whole-class instruction that helps to futureproof their learning as well as develop digital literacy, critical analysis, and content creation.
Academic success is one of the cornerstones of our mission, but it goes hand in hand with the nurturing of Christian citizenship focused on improving the world around us. We provide positive learning experiences, including Friday chapel, in a Christian environment to equip our students with the beneficial skills of sharing their love, joy, and knowledge with others. Our goal is for students to become ethical Chirstian leaders who proclaim the love of Jesus.
Prince of Peace Christian school is proud to be accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, and the National Lutheran School Association.
